Life School
Directed by Andy Walker and designed by myself around 1990, this two part short teenage drama about family strife - isn't a bundle of laughs! Written by Margaret Simpson, it's set in a family suburban house - for which I designed the studio interiors shown below.
The bedroom set doubled up for boy and girl's bedroom so it was key to try to get them feeling different spaces.
The same set - re-dressed. Door changed !
The marriage & family counselling office based on 'Relate'. Although, through research, I learned that real 'Relate' rooms have absolutely NO props other than chairs, the producer/writer wanted dressing!
